"Fin" - A film by Grace Yuhas
2D animated short film in progress! I wanted to go through the entire 2D animated film process to better understand how a story moves through each team in the pipeline. I started by writing a script, then moving to a chicken scratch storyboard, finalized the storyboard, created background and character concept art and turn arounds, and have been working on the animation and compositing steps.

The story is inspired by childhood memories of playing cards with my uncle.
Created using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. Characters were drawn in photoshop, rigged/animated in After Effects. Also created an idle animation for this scene as a test.

I created this 2D animatic in Toon Boom Harmony using my storyboard slides as key frames. This was helpful in pitching the storyline to the team for the 3D group version of this story.
